Vacancy: Instrumentation Technician Analyzer x 2
Location: South Africa, Durban/Cape Town

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical support to Engineers with respect to new analyser installations,
information gathering, problem solving, data accumulation, basic processing and
reporting. - Ensure that works standards are met according to quality, quantity and due dates.
- Achieving delivery targets in terms of Analyzer availability.
- Independently gather information and date accumulation.
- Manage complex schedules and communicate possible delays in meeting deadlines.
- Independently implement, analyser application solutions.
- Awareness, focus and control of cost/budget.
- Apply safety in all practices, specifically project planning and execution.
- Ensure long term asset plan, run cycles and shutdowns activities.
- Increase equipment availability, efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Analyse alternatives and recommend solutions.
- Troubleshoots technical issues equipment utilisation safety principles decision quality.
- Action Oriented Planning and Organisation Ensured accountability.
- Travel to Germany/China as and when required for new market products training &
development.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- National Diploma or B-Tech in Electrical Engineering/Process Instrumentation. (MUST)
- Minimum 5 years working with lab equipment experience (installation & maintenance) or
- B-Tech Degree with 2 years’ experience Analyser/Instrument Maintenance in Chemical
Industries. (MUST) - Have experience in the chemical industry laboratory environment. (will be an added
advantage) - Drivers License C1 (Code 10)
